What: There are many technical indicators that suggest that a stock price is close to peaking. Big one day swings and that sort of behavior are common. But on the psychological side, ones own feelings can be a toping indicator. If you've owed and followed a stock and it's been rising, it generally a good feeling. The peaking behavior feels like that first caffeine jolt in the morning. At times like these, it may be time to sell.
