They Mirror Each Other
a: Stereoisomer ~
b: a pair of hands
What: Molecular stereoisomers like 2 human hands opposing each other. One hand looks like the mirror of the other. If you don't believe this, put you hand up to a mirror. If it's your right hand, the image in the mirror will look like you left hand, at least in the orientation of the fingers. This is how stereo isomers "appear" to each other. Of course is reality there are not 2 molecules but billions in a given solution.

METAMIA is a free database of analogy
and metaphor. Anyone can contribute or search.
The subject matter can be anything.
Science is popular, but poetry is encouraged.
The goal is to integrate our fluid muses with
the stark literalism of a relational database.
Metamia is like a girdle for your muses,
a cognitive girdle.
