precipitation

a: Precipitation ~
b: when clouds cry
What: "I liked how they talked about how we get water. Evaporation comes from oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers, seas and deep seas. Condensation is in the clouds and then goes back into the lakes, ponds, oceans etc. precipitation is like when clouds cry, that is when it rains outside and you get all wet. Infiltration is when water enters the ground. That is how the water cycle works."

METAMIA is a free database of analogy and metaphor. Anyone can contribute or search. The subject matter can be anything. Science is popular, but poetry is encouraged. The goal is to integrate our fluid muses with the stark literalism of a relational database. Metamia is like a girdle for your muses, a cognitive girdle.
