Mind Is Like A Spread Sheat?
a: Mind ~
b: a spread sheat
What: "The answer that has often been given - by Chomsky, say, and others - is that the mind is like a spreadsheet: a prefabricated architecture that follows a strict, rule-based program, that rigidly structures its inputs and outputs in just such a way."

a: Mind ~
b: my mother

The Iceberlike mind
a: Mind ~
b: Iceberg
What: I believe this comparison was first made by Sigmund Freud. The surface, the more rational part of you is about 10% of the whole. The emotional and at time more irrational part of the mind, is about the other 90%. Of course, these numbers are approximations, but they do convey the general idea, that a lot of human existence, both male and female is unconscious, much of the time.

a: mind ~
b: garden
What:
"Imagine that your mind is like a garden. You could simply be with it, looking at its weeds and flowers without judging or changing anything. Or, you could pull weeds by decreasing what's negative in your mind. Or, you could grow flowers by increasing the positive in your mind. In essence, you can manage your mind in three primary ways: let be, let go, or let in. "

It needs a subtle warming to get the water flowing and cleaning. It better to have a flowing filth mind that a clean water frozen mind. The flowing filth often leads to cleaner water. If doesn't transform into inner purity, at least inner contentment.

And At Time They Taste Good Together
a: Mind of a women ~
b: a bowl of spaghetti
What: "Women however process information very differently. A woman's mind is like a bowl of spaghetti, where every noodle intersects with another and forms connections, just like the thoughts in her mind. Women are therefore able to quickly move from one thought to another; making them more efficient." And a man's mind is like a Waffle; it's compartmentalized and can only deal with one thing at a time. These are generalizations, but they may be more right than wrong.

"In the book The Biology of Belief it is made quite clear how your environment and beliefs set the foundation to your life and cause you to attract life events to come into your life. It is as if your mind brain system is like a magic genie carrying forth your inner beliefs to the letter. If you have had challenging life situations then you can be sure that you have some limiting beliefs in your subconscious mind."

2 Phases Together
a: Mind body connection ~
b: the beach
What: This link is somewhat like the environment at the beach. It can be an ocean beach, a bay beach or maybe even a beach by a lake or a river. The unifying point is the concurrence of two phases sitting, water and earth, liquid and solid, next each other. Any one who has been to any beach knows that the water is not separate from the land and the land is not separate from the water. They reside, side by side, in a natural balance.

a: mind body connection ~
b: gravity
What:
"The mind/body connection is like gravity - always on and working the same way. Thinking influences feeling. So we can choose between intentionally and consciously using the mind to create happiness and wellbeing, or we can unintentionally and unconsciously allow our bodies to be subjected to discomfort and dis-ease. That's why I do laughter yoga and mindfulness meditation, which I also teach many clients. "

a: mind without concentration ~
b: wooden posts left lying on the ground
What:
"A mind without concentration is like a pile of wooden posts left lying on the ground for people and animals to step all over. But if we stand the posts up and plant them in the soil, we can get good use out of them. Even if they're not tall - only a meter or so - but we put them close together in a line, we can fence in our yard and prevent people and animals from coming in and traipsing all over our property. It's the same with the mind "
