What:
A sound spot light it is like. A sonar sends out audio waves into the water. When those waves encounter a solid object, like a ship or the bottom of the ocean, the waves are reflected. A spotlight is pointed at someone on a dark stage to illuminate them. The projected light is reflected by the subject and they become visible in the darkness.
