In order for it to be a cake there needs to be some specific elements in there. Things have to be measured. Cooking times have to be observed. Some knowledge of cake baking is required. But most importantly, you have to want to make a cake in the first place. You can't just put a heavy riff, some double-time tempo changes, some shouty vocals and a double kick pedal together and expect to end up with a cake. what you end up with is either a sloppy mess that no-one in their right mind would want to eat, or some overdone, inedible crap that's only fit to be thrown away."
