What: I was walking around the REI in Mountain View the other day. It's expensive, but high quality stuff. The REI shoe section inspired the comparison with Nordstrom's. REI has every type of hiking boot, walking shoe, lounging sandal and rock climbing shoe imaginable. The variety style and quality of the children's shoes were also impressive. Apparently Nordstrom has a similar layout in their shoes department, but those are mostly dress shoes. People in Seattle must have some kinda foot fetish or maybe they like really nice shoes. I'm not sure.
