What: "Using PCR is like using a very powerful microscope," Lynch said. "It's more sensitive than X-ray imaging. We're using PCR as a way to look at minute levels of residual cancer cells -- malignancy that remains after treatment is concluded. We're using PCR to analyze blood and bone marrow and to correlate our findings with what we see with X-ray images."
