Very Small With A Loud Voice

a: Antibody ~
b: marine reconnaissance unit

What: An antibody binding to it's antigen sets off an amplification cascade. This small molecule changes its configuration and let the rest of the immune system know that it has found an invading entity and that you should come and attack it. Likewise a marine recon unit is small focused and moves really quick, while the rest of the marine core is big and dumb and moves slowly, but ultimately very powerfully, if it know where to go. So, this small group of marines signals the whole division where to attack in mass the way antibody binding event signals the whole immune system.
