A Planted Plant

a: Zygote ~
b: plant

What: "But that is not the problem. The problem is defining when after cinception the zygote can think, or do anything that isn't merely vegetative. If it is merely the fact that it is alive that makes it human(in the philosophical sense rather than the scientific sense), then what justifies us killing animals? For weeks after conception the zygote is like a plant, unable to think, without a brain. I see no reason why this zygote is more important than an animal?"
