a: chemokine ~
b: a traffic policeman

What:

"The chemokine is like a traffic policeman telling the natural killer cells it's time to move. When it is inactivated, it doesn't attract the natural killer cells as much. We're exploring the idea that having FAP in that environment can turn off the chemokine's signal to kill the tumor cell and give the tumor a better chance of survival"
